If we read John Chapter 2, we can see the first miracle of Jesus. He was invited to a wedding and they were running out of wine. Think about the condition of the host, how embarrassing it would have been. Few years back we were invited to a particular marriage. They invited many guests but food was not sufficient for every guest and so only a few guests could get the food. When the host came to know about the situation he felt very much ashamed but on that day he could not do anything. The next day he went to every house and apologized to them.
Here, we see that they were in a desperate need to escape from the embarrassment. They were in a situation where all hope ended. They were in a situation where they might have thought, "we could not go any further." My dear friend, are you in a similar situation today? Are you thinking, "I am at the end of the road." Are you thinking, "I have no hope?" Are you thinking, "I can not go any further?" When all our hope ends, when we think there is no way out yes, then God works a miracle. If we read further we can see how marvelously Jesus did a miracle. Jesus turned water into wine in joyful celebration of a new age. Our Lord's first miracle in John speaks of the new blessings that come as a result of His presence.
You may be thinking, "every thing is over for me and no best thing will I see anymore." But look, what Jesus has done. John 2:9-10, "When the master of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and did not know where it came from (but the servants who had drawn the water knew), the master of the feast called the bridegroom. And he said to him, "Every man at the beginning sets out the good wine, and when the guests have well drunk, then the inferior. You have kept the good wine until now!"
Wine typically speaks of the joy of spiritual life. With the coming of Jesus, God's best has arrived at last. Yes, Jesus wants to wipe away all your tears and wants to fill you with gladness. He wants to give your smile back on your face. Bible says in Matthew 11:28, "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."

Rose of Sharon and the lily of the valleys, beautiful flowers represent Jesus. He was so beautiful but became ugly for me, for you and for the whole world to make us beautiful. Bible says in Isaiah 53:2 -3 "For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant, And as a root out of dry ground. He has no form or comeliness; And when we see Him, There is no beauty that we should desire Him. He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him."
He became curse for us so that we may be no more in curse as the Bible says in Galatians 3:13, "Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree")."
Yes, Jesus wants to remove all the curse from our lives so that we may be blessed. That’s why He came in this world, lived a victorious life and shed up to the last drop of His precious blood on the cruel cross, so that we may experience the genuine love, a true love.
Beautiful rose grows amidst thorns. Thorns surround it but you can see the beauty of the flower and it seems as if it is full of smiles. When Jesus comes in our lives, He does the same thing for us no matter how many problems may surround us, but He gives peace in the midst of those problems. You can smile when you are still going through problems. He gives the joy that this world can not give. Jesus came to give us that joy and that peace. Are you going through problems and worried thinking what would happen to you? Have you lost your smile and hope? Look to Jesus, He is ready to help you no matter what your problem may be. No matter what your sickness or sin may be. He is calling you lovingly. He will restore your life. He will fill your life with hope, peace and joy. Yes, my friend He wants to give your smile back on your face.
